Jaw Joint Treatment
Jaw Joint Treatments may be necessary to manage painful jaw muscles and jaw joint noises. Jaw Joint Pain, or Temporomandibular Disorders (TMDs), can be severe enough to limit the foods that you can eat, decrease the amount you can open your mouth and interfere with daily activities. It can also be painful enough to interfere with your work and concentration.
Jaw Joint Treatments are usually very simple, but can take multiple visits. They involve an overall review of your jaw muscles and joints and a conservative home care management regimen. At times it also involves shot term medication, mouth plates, help from physiotherapists and extra images of your jaw joints. |
