Our surgery uses The Wand ® technology to give patients injections. The Wand® is the first computer controlled system for delivery of local anaesthetic. It replaces 150-year-old technology of syringes, providing precision needle control and precision anaesthetic delivery.
When medicines are injected into the body, they cause momentary expansion of the skin and tissues. The precision delivery decreases this expansion and decreases the discomfort you feel during injections. In most cases, the anaesthetic can be applied with not pain at all!
